Summer Study Abroad
During the summer of 2023, I had the opportunity to travel abroad and study in Europe for 6 weeks. I attended the Institute for American Universities (IAU) out of Barcelona, Spain.
Education
During my time in Spain, I took two accelerated business classes, Economics and Supply Chain Management. I learned about the global aspects of these fields, as well as gained a worldwide perspective on business operations. At the end of the term, I passed these courses with two A's.
Travel
The school week abroad was 4 days of classes, two hours per period, and 3 days off to allow for travel to nearby destinations. This gave me the opportunity to travel to Porto, Portugal where I surfed the Atlantic and celebrated the festival of St. John. The picture to the right was taken when I traveled to Pamplona, Spain, and participated in the Running of the Bulls. Thankfully I survived to tell the story.
